[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 1st March 2018 Stillman Insurance Brokers opened for business, following six months of jumping through regulatory hoops, negotiating with insurers, and numerous attempts to open a business bank account (which was far more painful than the adverts would have you believe). One year on and I’m pleased to report that we have exceeded our own expectations in terms of the success of the business, where we find ourselves now, and where we plan to get to in the next twelve months.
This success is entirely due to the fantastic support and faith that has been shown by our clients, suppliers, insurers, professional contacts, and other supporters in their various forms. We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has contributed – we will do everything we can to reciprocate that show of faith and support in the future.
This message is the first in what will become a regular email to our various clients and contacts, in a series that we are calling “Eyes on the Risk”. This represents our approach to general insurance, and summarises our philosophy on doing the best for our clients – we need to really know our clients, as far as possible by being face-to-face at their premises, seeing exactly what they do and how they do it. We firmly believe that this is the only way to gain a proper understanding of any organisation and the risks that they face, and to then arrange appropriate insurance from that position of knowledge. It takes time, but it’s worth the investment, especially when claims arise.
That said, we are acutely aware that insurance can be a rather dry subject – please rest assured that we’ll do everything we can to ensure the content is always relevant to you and your organisation, and above all interesting.
